COBC 2016
Rooms will be $149 a night for the Hilton Gulf Front Hotel. You can reserve mid October. This is the host hotel/convention center. These rooms normally go for around $230 a night this time of year.

Command Officer Boot Camp 2016 on Pensacola Beach, Florida
May 10-12, 2016 at the Pensacola Beach Hilton Convention Center.
Registration will start at $250 for full conference attendance, to include free transportation to and from the Pensacola Airport. It will also include some free food and drinks with discounts at numerous restaurants. Paddle boarding and rental bikes will be available at a significant discount.

This will be a three-day conference on Command & Control of Fires and Emergencies. It will also cover commanding/leading an individual company, battalion, and department on a daily basis. This conference will be for the step up/acting officer, Newly promoted officer, Chief Officer, and Chief of Department. The first two days will be in the big room with Speakers like Mike Lombardo, Retired Fire Commissioner of the Buffalo Fire Department, Mark VonAppen, Captain with the Palo Alto FD, Todd Edwards, Assistant Chief Atlanta Fire, Ray McCormack, FDNY, and many more names to be added. The third day will be break out tracks based on rank with some hands on offered. We will have speakers covering all topics related to Leadership and getting the most out of your people. There will be a minimum of six different speakers from all over. Last years conference was a huge success and SOLD OUT early.
Understanding Tactical Command and Strategic Command. There is more than one style of command and a place for each. Is it a One Story Ranch or a High Rise multiple dwelling? Day 3 will have a class on Commanding the Mayday and will utilize radios and multi-media for the ultimate experience. Don’t wait until the real incident to prepare.
Day 3 will have these tracks:
- Senior Chief/Chief of Department
- Battalion/District Chief
- Running a Training Division “Truly Providing”
- Company Officer
- Step up Officer
This will be a spouse/family friendly conference and we encourage you to bring your spouse/family. There will be things for them to do, while you’re in class. All nightly socials will be family friendly.

We have numerous individuals with room reservations that are not registered for HROC. We have extended the $250 until tonight for you to register. We will be issuing name tags for HROC 2015. YOU MUST be REGISTERED to attend. Seats will be limited to only those that have paid and are registered. We are well aware that numerous individuals attended the last two years without registering. We can not look the other way this year. We are currently have over 300 registered and it will SELL OUT! Register and Reserve room. Rooms are coming very limited. Over 150 rooms already reserved.

High Rise Operations Conference 2015
December 1-3, 2015 on Pensacola Beach Class Starts at 0730 on Tuesday December 1 and Ends late Thursday December 3. You should plan on arriving Monday and leaving on Friday. There will be a HUGE Firefighter Party Thursday night.

Command Officer Boot Camp 2015
Casino Bar & Grill is the host Restaurant & Bar for the week with 20% off and Great drink specials.
Check in will start at 0800 on Tuesday morning in the lobby of the Hampton Inn on Pensacola Beach. COBC will be in the Deluna Hall first floor of the Hampton Inn.
Class will be 08:30-16:30 hours Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.
Large Firefighter Gathering Wednesday evening at Hemingway’s from 16:30-2100 hours with $1 Fish Tacos and $4 Mojitos. “All Firefighters and family members invited regardless if your attending COBC” This is also a celebration for the 15 New Firefighters hired in Escambia County and the 4 Newly Promoted Lieutenants. Looking to have over 200 Firefighters in attendance. Bring swim shorts and a towel for the kids.
