Contributing Instructor | Ray McCormack, FDNY (Ret.)
Contributing Instructor | Mike Ciampo, FDNYThe classroom sessions for ODP will take place daily from 8am–5pm. ODP will elevate your understanding of Fireground Size-Up, and Assigning/Deploying the proper Fireground Tactics, based on staffing and available resources. CFT will also cover Time Delayed Tactics that can aid fire departments that operate with limited staffing and resources. County Fire Tactics Officer Development Program presents a curriculum that is in a class by itself, a once in a lifetime opportunity. ODP’s academic approach dives into the world of Strategy, Tactics, and Leadership for use in the fire station and the fire ground. We request all attendees wear Fire Department Uniform/Button Up Shirts on the first day. The rest of the week will be business casual with a minimum of a collared shirt. All attendees will be issued an official name tag to be worn during class each day for accountability purposes. This is a 40 hour Officer Development Class and not a seminar/conference. This is not your stay out late and sleep in class. All attendees will be required to attend 100% to receive credit and get the CFT ODP certificate.
