Chief John Norman to lead the CFT ODP January 21-25, 2019 using both his books. This is a five day/40 Hour Officer Development Program designed for all Ranks from Firefighter to Chief. This is a once in a career opportunity to academically dive into the world of Strategy & Tactics to include Leadership. We currently have over 200 Registered with 250 as the max to allow for the Greatest Comfort in the Big Ballroom at the Pensacola Beach Hilton. We will be providing FREE SHUTTLES from the Pensacola Airport on Sunday January 20 and Free Shuttles Saturday back to the Pensacola Airport. We will provide limited shuttles Friday night after class is over if you have a late flight out. We do a lot of conferences on Pensacola Beach, but we have never done anything as indepth as this program. We also submitted to the Florida State FIRE College for 40 Hours of CEUs towards Fire Instructor and Fire Officer Certifications. Also to have it in the FCDICE for long term academic credit. Certificates will be issued on Friday afternoon. Hotel Rooms start $85 a night for a double. We are also offering to group individuals together to help with lodging cost. All attendees will get conference wristbands for 20% off most establishments on Pensacola Beach.

We request all attendees wear Fire Department Uniform/Button Up Shirts on day 1/Monday January 21 and a minimum of a collared golf shirt the other days. This will be business casual dress during class. All attendees will be issued an official name tag to be worn during class each day for accountability purposes. There will also be name cards at each seat for the week.
If interested in the morning workouts, walks, & runs bring your shoes and proper gear. “Could be Cold”. Each night there will be bonus Roundtables and Leadership & Tactics discussions for those that just can’t get enough. This will be a week of deep diving into the WORLD OF FIRE!!!
