Battalion Chief Boot Camp is a new Cohort Learning Program delivered solely by Chief Isakson over all FIVE DAYS from 8:00am–5:30pm Monday-Friday, and 6:00pm-9:00pm Sunday & Friday.
The ONE OF A KIND, Five Day 50-hour Battalion Chief Leadership & Tactics program will take place February 2nd – 8th, 2025 in Pensacola Beach, Florida at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulfside Convention Center. BCBC February ’25 will enhance even the most experienced Command Officer. Check-in Starts Sunday February 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
This attendee cohort learning concept is about MAXIMIZING every moment, Sunday Night through Saturday Morning. Be ready and willing for a 100% ALL IN, classroom participation learning experience, inclusive social learning experience, and opportunity for attendees to form a professional networking group to build your Chief Officer skills, and continuing to share experiences together.
This event has a limited number of attendees to encourage participation and relationship building. By limiting attendance, we can create an environment that fosters more engaging discussions and a greater exchange of ideas among attendees, leading to more effective collaboration and a stronger sense of community.

Battalion Chief Boot Camp is a specialized and innovative training program exclusively developed and presented by Chief Isakson. The program is designed to provide aspiring and current battalion chiefs with advanced knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.

Throughout the week Chief Isakson will share his successes and failures: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, encompassing his 19-years of real world experiences as a “LINE” Battalion Chief in a Metro County responding to ALL FIRES on-duty, and sometime off-duty. This will be a class based on real-world experience in very diverse settings.
ATTENDEES WILL LEAVE WITH A BOOK OF NOTES FROM THEIR WEEK OF LEARNING
While Chief Isakson downloads his experiences and knowledge, students will be able to listen and focus on lectures instead of trying to take notes. Attendees will leave at the end of the week with a typed digital copy of notes covered through the week
This will be a very unique training opportunity. It will be HUGE for students that are not that great at taking notes, and operating in a county fire department that provides fire protection in a very diverse setting.

Curt “Ike” Isakson is a 34+ year veteran of the fire service, professional speaker, motivator, educator, and consultant with experience working in volunteer, career, and combination departments in urban, suburban, rural, and countywide settings.
He has been a “LINE” Battalion Chief for Escambia County Fire Rescue in Florida for the last 19 years with his primary duty of responding to fires and emergencies.
Before his last 21 years with Escambia, Curt was a Company Officer with the Pensacola Fire Department assigned to Heavy Rescue 31 for 9 years.

FREE PNS AIRPORT SHUTTLE
County Fire Tactics sponsored airport shuttles will get attendees to and from the Pensacola Airport (PNS) on Sunday, and Saturday only.
- Sunday, 2/2/2025, arrivals before 5:00pm will locate a Shuttle outside Baggage Claim 3 at Pensacola International Airport.
- Saturday, 2/8/2025, departures will locate a Shuttle outside the Fairfield Inn & Suites Pensacola Beach lobby. Historically the shuttle will start between 3:30am and 4:00am for the earliest flights and end at 11:00am.
- Registration will open approximately one week before the start of CFT’s Battalion Chief Boot Camp February 2025, shuttle registration is required.

Overall, this courseprovides an effective learning experience forstudents who desire a more streamlinedapproach to note-taking.
