Congratulations Dave McGrail, Assistant Chief, Denver Fire Department Milestone

Today, Dave McGrail, Assistant Fire Chief, received a significant honor in recognition of his years of service to the City and County of Denver Colorado.

Chief McGrail became the “Senior” ranking Assistant Chief of the Denver Fire Department. His 34 years of service will continue with a new badge on his uniform emblazoned with the number one.

Chief McGrail is world renowned for his knowledge on the topic of Firefighting Operations in High Rise and Standpipe Equipped Buildings. He even authored a book with the same title. Chief McGrail has shared his vast firefighting knowledge with countless firefighters during County Fire Tactics Conferences on Pensacola Beach.

Chief McGrail leads a popular Hands-on Training Track at CFT’s High Rise Operations Conference where students hookup, and flow water off the 17th Floor of the Hilton Pensacola Beach.
