County Fire Tactics is returning to the office tomorrow with a live webcast titled “People Before Water & Loving the Job.” This will be Chief Isakson’s first “Passion From the Dock in 2021.” The event will begin June 1st, 2021 at 10:00 am CST on CF Tactics Facebook Live.
The dockside presentation will build on the May 2021 article in Firehouse Magazine and reinforce that it is okay to be into the job, love your line of work, be passionate about your craft, and have mutual respect for people who do not.
Chief Isakson’s passion for “People Before Water” tactical decision-making is not simply “lip service.” He backs it up with real multi-company coordinated fire attack events in single-family, and multi-family occupancies.
Only a few days ago on Friday, May 28th, 2021, Chief Isakson utilized this tactic at the Sandstones Apartments, located at 190 North Old Corry Field Road Pensacola, FL 32507. The first two engines and ladder went right to work “FOR THEM”, hitting it hard and fast with booster backup. The fourth due unit was assigned the water supply.
