True Confessions and Concessions…The Fire Service Labor/Management Relations Experience
It holds true that the fire service continues to rapidly change and the word “efficiency” is used often internally as well as externally in the quest to operate our services more efficiently. Efficiency is not just about costs, controls and our budgets. In order for us to have vision, grow and sustain the services we deliver in our respective agencies we must look at our internal relationships, interests and acknowledge our shared values – Pride, Passion, and Tradition to individually and organizationally, be the best we can be. Reaching outside of our comfort zones as we search for creative and better ways to secure and sustain our future, creates uncertainty. Mutual and combined efforts requires trust and confidence to navigate the good times as well as the challenges we are faced with.
This informative and interactive program is presented from first-hand experiences, lessons learned as well as strategies developed for success.
