2 Rescued from Philly House Fire

Details: Engine-71 was dispatched for rubbish fire. While en route the call was upgraded to a box for reported house fire with people trapped. Engine-71 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the first floor rear of a two story twin dwelling,  16×40, placed 2&2 in service. B/C-13 placed all hands in service, requested a second medic unit. Firefighters rescued two unconscious people from a second floor bedroom. Both were transported to a local hospitals in cardiac arrest. They eventually were airlifted to Temple Burns Center.
