DCFD Saves on Military Rd.

0400, 09/04/2013…Engine and Truck 14 were sent to 2701 Military Road in the Northwest section of DC for the automatic fire alarm.  Truck 14 arrived to find a room going in the assisted-living facility.  They reported several people unable to escape.  Truck 14 requested the box alarm be filled out.

A short time later command reported “fire knocked down” but Rescue 2 had about 13 residents sheltered in place in need of EMS evaluations.
