Battalion Chief Boot Camp is a new Cohort Learning Program delivered solely by Chief Isakson over all FIVE DAYS from 8:00am–5:00pm. The ONE OF A KIND, 40-hour Battalion Chief Leadership & Tactics event will take place October 13th – 19th, 2024 in Pensacola Beach, Florida at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott. BCBC October ’24 will enhance even the most experienced Command Officer. Check-in Starts Sunday October 13, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
This seventy attendee cohort learning concept is about MAXIMIZING every moment, Sunday Night through Saturday Morning. Be ready and willing for a 100% ALL IN, classroom participation learning experience, inclusive social learning experience, and opportunity for attendees to form a professional networking group to build your Chief Officer skills, and continuing to share experiences together.

Throughout the week Chief Isakson will share his successes and failures based on over 19 years of real world experiences as a line Battalion Chief in a Metro County responding to ALL FIRES on-duty, and sometime off-duty.

ATTENDEES WILL LEAVE WITH A BOOK OF NOTES FROM THEIR WEEK OF LEARNING
While Chief Isakson downloads his experiences and knowledge, students will be able to listen and focus on lectures instead of trying to take notes. Kyle Romagus will be writing notes on large white board at the front of the room. All attendees can take pictures of the whiteboard(s). These notes will be transcribed. At the end of the week, attendees will leave with a structured set of notes like a book.
This will be a very unique training opportunity. It will be HUGE for students that are not that great at taking notes, and operating in a county fire department that provides fire protection in a very diverse setting.

Registration is now open and we are already 50% sold out. Take action on the 35 spots remaining. Pricing for this exclusive program starts at $935.00 and includes an organized class breakfast each morning on the first floor of the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
The 70 attendees of our Battalion Chief Boot Camp Cohort will have a CFT Tumbler and shirt included. The CFT Tumbler provides free coffee for the week and free non alcoholic beverages at some establishments. All attendees will get wristband for discounts at most establishments on Pensacola Beach.
GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT CHIEF CURT ISAKSON
Curt “Ike” Isakson is a 30+ year veteran of the fire service, professional speaker, motivator, educator, and consultant with experience working in volunteer, career, and combination departments in urban, suburban, rural, and countywide settings.
He is currently a Battalion Chief for Escambia County Fire Rescue in Florida where he has worked for the last 21 years. Before his time with Escambia, Curt was a Company Officer with the Pensacola Fire Department assigned to Heavy Rescue 31 for 9 years.

Attendees will have Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Coffee, and Lunch Provided Monday-Friday. Dinner and Beverages Provided Two Nights TBD. There are Inside and Outside areas for Collaborating, Networking, Socializing.
Front desk staff at the Spring Hill Suites will confirm program registration during your stay to maintain your reduced rate. You may be charged the Max Rack Rate per night if you’re not part of the program.
FREE PNS AIRPORT SHUTTLE
County Fire Tactics sponsored airport shuttles will get attendees to and from the Pensacola Airport (PNS) on Sunday, and Saturday only.
- Sunday, 10/13/2024, arrivals before 5:00pm will locate a Dream Catcher Shuttle outside Baggage Claim 3 at Pensacola International Airport.
- Saturday, 10/19/2024, departures will locate a Dream Catcher Shuttle outside the Fairfield Inn & Suites Pensacola Beach lobby. Historically the shuttle will start between 3:30am and 4:00am for the earliest flights and end at 11:00am.
- Registration will open approximately one week before the start of CFT’s Battalion Chief Boot Camp October 2024, shuttle registration is required.
