The Howell Area Fire Dept., Howell, Michigan was dispatched to a Structure Fire in an attached garage that had extended to the home.  Reports of a possible civilian still inside.  Callers reported that the windows of the structure had “exploded out”.  Crews arrived and began aggressive search and suppression activities.  Crew members found a female occupant, still viable, and removed her from the structure the EMS Company began advanced airway procedures and a helicopter was called.  University of Michigan Survival Flight transported the patient to the Trauma/Burn Center.  Patient outcome is not known at this time.  Crews remained on scene for extensive overhaul.  Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
