HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAAY) – Investigators are trying to figure out what started a Thursday morning apartment fire off of Bailey Cove Road.

Firefighters responded to Willowbrook Apartments just after 10 a.m. Thursday for a fire. They were able to rescue a woman and her dog from the apartment and get the fire out.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
