This fire was rapidly extinguished utilizing a 2.5″ and prevented extension to other parts of the building. All Fire Companies must train on when to choose the 2.5″ over the 1.75′ and/or even the Attack monitor. The deck gun and portable RAMS have there place, but also have limitations as well. Train with your company on the pro’s and con’s of all three.
