We are excited to inform you that the Underwriter Laboratories Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI) has released a comprehensive technical report titled “Measurement of Heat Transfer and Fire Damage Patterns on Walls for Fire Model Validation.” This report, developed in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Fire Research Laboratory, is now available for download.

The report details the results of 63 experiments on fire model validation involving various fire sources and wall types. This valuable resource is linked on our website, CountyFireTactics.com, where you can access the full report. The report is part of the Heat Transfer and Fire Damage Patterns on Walls for Fire Model Validation research project, which was funded through a grant from the National Institute of Justice. The dataset from this project is available in a public repository, and will be leveraged in future validation studies.

We are proud to support the mission of UL FSRI and the extensive research they’ve conducted to make a difference in the fire service globally.
