Emergency responders successfully removed a man from a house in Plymouth after it caught fire overnight.
The Plymouth Fire Department was called by the homeowner on the 100 block of Trenton Lane at 11:25 p.m. Thursday night, according to authorities.
The man was still inside the home when emergency responders arrived, authorities said. Police officers were able to remove the person from the house.
Both homeowners were transported to HCMC for evaluation.
Plymouth Deputy Fire Chief Kip Springer said the fire spread from the rear of the home to the roof, which caused a partial collapse of the roof trusses.
The Hennepin County Fire Investigation Unit is investigating the fire.
