GAHANNA, Ohio – One man was injured in an early morning fire at a house in Gahanna Thursday.

Firefighters say two people were inside the home when the fire started around 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Arcaro Drive.

The woman who was inside said she ran to a neighbors home to get help.

When rescue workers arrived on scene they had to go inside to get a man to safety.

The man was rushed to Mount Carmel East Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.  He’s expected to make a full recovery.
