Im going LIVE TONIGHT with the TRUTH about the American Fire Service. This will only be available during the live feed at 6 Central. Don’t miss out on the Truth.
Freedom of speech is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or sanction. The term “freedom of expression” is sometimes used synonymously but includes any act of seeking, receiving, and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.
an elephant in the room. informal. If you say there is an elephant in the room, you mean that there is an obvious problem or difficult situation that people do not want to talk about.
It’s Sad that we can’t just speak the truth in 2018. Especially when people are dying and we continue to focus on being politicaly correct. Im really not sure how some sleep at night. Firefighters & Civilians die from a lack of Leadership and standing for what’s right. STAND FOR SOMETHING!!
Just click older at bottom and will bring up even more training videos.
Water is EVERYTHING at a Working Fire!!
We need water to survive in Life and on the Fireground. Everything we do is secondary to Water On The Fire. Water maintains and CREATES SURVIVABLE SPACE! Tactics Put Out Fires through supporting Water Application to the BURNING SOLID FUELS. Understanding Fire Behavior and how to KILL IT through proper water deliver should be the TOP PRIORITY of all Firefighters. Historically in the past firefighters DIED doing Truck Work and were usually assigned to the Truck Company. Today more than ever before the Firefighters that Die during interior Fire Operations; Die on THE NOZZLE! Death on the Nozzle is more real than it’s ever been and we must wake up and put STRETCHING & FLOWING before playing on a DOOR PROP OR ROOF PROP. Yes those Tactics are Critical but secondary to Water Application. We must get WATER ON THE FIRE at every fire. We are not required to to force a door or cut a roof at every fire but guaranteed the fire needs water and enough of it to rapidly overcome the BTUs being produced. We need BIG APPLICATION and not prolonged duration of water application. But we must also completely understand the BIG 3 of FIRE STREAM & Attack Package SELECTION!!
1. Desired Amount Residential“2.5 GPS/150 GPM” or Commercial “5 GPS/300 GPM”
2. Desired Reach “Stream Reach”
3. Desired Nozzle Reaction/Combat Mobility “Nozzle Reach”
The Fire Service must stop deciding their hose & nozzle package from parking lot evaluations and start doing the Gallons Per Second test to truly pick a package that proves to be successful on the interior of a building on Fire. I have not been to very many parking lot fires and most building fires have SHIT EVERYWHERE!! Curt Isakson and the other Instructors at Water On The Fire 2018 will cover everything from the system to the stream to give the attendee a better understanding of getting Water On The Fire. The importance of matching the proper hose to the proper nozzle and how it will affect your PDP.
We will open Water On The Fire with Curt Isakson’s class Death On The Nozzle!
Today is Chief Todd Edwards last watch on-duty as the Captain of Engine 20 in the City of Atlanta where he proudly served the last 30 Years. Congratulations Brother on a Great Career! We look forward to seeing and working with you more frequently as you might have retired from Atlanta Fire Department, but we know that you have not retired from the Fire Service.
